Annual Conference
The IIC’s 55th Annual Conference, will take place in Bangkok, Thailand and follows the International Regulators Forum on 6-7 November 2024. Senior industry representatives will join regulators, academics and other stakeholders from the telecoms, media and technology stakeholder communities for two days of discussions on the big questions and issues facing the sector.
The International Regulators Forum will be hosted by The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission of Thailand (NBTC) on 4-5 November 2024.
The IIC Small Nations Regulators Forum, will be held on the afternoon of 5 November 2024.
Discussion themes include:
• Creating the optimum investment environment to enable digital transformation for all
• Tackling the disinformation battle in a year of multiple elections: reflecting on the impact of media literacy & plurality, Public Service Media, fact-checking, GenAI and deepfakes
• Preparing for WRC-27: efficient methods for the assignment of high demand spectrum
