Joe Welch is Vice President of Global Public Policy for The Walt Disney Company.
Welch is responsible for the company’s government affairs activities in the Asia Pacific excluding Greater China and India and leads strategic public policy initiatives across business segments in the region.
Welch also sits on the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Communications and serves as Chairman of the Board of the Asia Video Industry Association (AVIA).
Previously, he served as MCI WorldCom’s Asia Director of Government Affairs and earlier was an attorney at the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C.
Welch received his bachelor’s degree from Amherst College and his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.

Dr Roger Tong has over 33 years’ experience in the satellite and telecommunications industry. Dr Tong has held various senior management positions at COM DEV International, Allen Telecom and Mark IV Industries, Prior to joining AsiaSat in 2008, Dr Tong worked as Technical Consultant to Telesat Canada.
Director, Content, Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd
Agnes Rozario has been a core part of Astro’s growth and positioning as the top entertainment destination for Malaysians. She leads the company’s content team, which covers all vernaculars, regional and Hollywood content, sports and film businesses. Agnes was key in driving the success of Pay Per View and VOD services, which in 2018 had garnered over 50 million downloads and engagements. She also spearheads Asian originals via regional partnerships.

At Brightcove, Greg is focused on expanding the video streaming company’s footprint across the region. Greg has more than 20 years of experience in advertising, digital marketing, and a rich experience in building consumer offerings in the technology, media & telecom sector. Prior to Brightcove, Greg held various senior management and mentor roles at Universal McCann, McCann WorldGroup, Chinaccelator, and as an OTT TV advisor to CASBAA (now AVIA).
Anna Pak Burdin
Vice President and General Manager, Southeast Asia, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd
Anna is charged with driving the growth of Discovery’s business across Southeast Asia and expanding its product offering with a particular focus on developing digital opportunities to target the region’s growing population of digitally active consumers. She oversees all aspects of business development and operational performance across the brand portfolio. Anna joined Discovery in 2014 and held several senior roles including running the company’s business across Eastern Europe including Russia, the Baltics, Ukraine, and Central Asia.

Alexandre Muller is responsible for TV5MONDE’s regional business operations, including the launch and distribution of channels, marketing and all internet and new media development within the region.

Desmond Chan is responsible for international operations, and legal and regulatory matters of Hong Kong’s leading television station. He is also General Manager of TVBI.

Amit Malhotra leads the Content Sales and Distribution division as part of The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer & International (DTCI) business in South APAC. He is entrusted with enhancing the company’s reach and opportunities through programming sales, post-theatrical film sales, and the distribution of branded direct-to-consumer services in the region. Prior to this, he served as the Country Manager for Singapore and Malaysia while also being responsible for the Media Networks business in Southeast Asia.

Clément Schwebig is Managing Director for Southeast Asia, Pacific and China at WarnerMedia Entertainment Networks.
In Asia Pacific, Warner Media Entertainment Networks is the new entity that unites Turner and HBO to create a combined powerhouse of leading brands.
Clément oversees its entertainment networks including HBO and its family of channels, OTT service and two SVOD services, Warner TV, local content channels Red and Oh!K, as well as Cartoon Network and the kids portfolio, and all digital ventures. His responsibilities include operations, advertising sales, and the distribution of all networks including CNN International, HLN and BabyFirst.
