KC Global Media, Asia’s leading entertainment network announced today its 3rd quarter partnership renewals with key affiliate broadcasters in five territories including Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Maldives, reinforcing and strengthening its growth across Asia by bringing premium content to more households across the region.

In Singapore, the renewal by StarHub Cable Vision Ltd enables its subscribers to continue to enjoy the best of first and exclusive Asia premieres through English entertainment channel, AXN; Japanese anime channel, Animax; Japanese entertainment channel, GEM; Korean drama, and variety channel, ONE. Fans of English action channel, AXN, can look forward to fresh titles in August including season 2 of medical drama, Nurses, on Aug 26, Fridays 8.50pm, season 4 of Hudson & Rex, on Aug 29, Mondays to Thursdays at 8.50pm, and the premiere of theatrical blockbuster, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, on Aug 21, at 9.45pm. Premiering within 12 hours of their U.S. telecast, AXN will also feature season 2 of NCIS: Hawai’i on Sep 20, Tuesdays at 9.45pm, season 5 of The Rookie, on Sep 26, Mondays at 9.45pm, and CSI: Vegas season 2 on Sep 30, Fridays at 9.45pm.
Hong Kong’s Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) extended its renewal for AXN and Animax, and will be taking up a new channel featuring the best of Japanese entertainment in GEM, where fans in Hongkong can watch popular drama series, NICE FLIGHT!, Mondays at 8.45pm, same week as Japan; with new episodes of Mampuku, the ramen drama series featuring the true story of the founders of Nissin Food products, every Sunday at 6.40pm, Renovation Like Magic, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8.45pm, and Must Be ARASHI! S4, on Mondays, 7.50pm. I LOVE everyone’s zoo, premieres on Oct 18, Tuesdays at 7.50pm, featuring lead actor and singer of the popular Arashi boyband, Masaki Aiba (The Men of the WADA Family).
Cignal TV, Inc (Cignal) the premier DTH satellite provider for the Philippines renewed their partnership for AXN and Animax, adding GEM to the portfolio to boost their subscribers’ demand for Japanese content. For Animax, anime fans can catch season 3 of the hit series, Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These – Collision, with new episodes shown on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10pm; season 2 of the popular evergreen sports series, Kuroko’s Basketball, will be telecast on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8pm; slice of life comedy, Police in a Pod, premieres on Aug 9, Mondays and Tuesdays at 10pm; comedy fantasy series, Life with an Ordinary Guy who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout, premiering on Aug 22, Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm, with retro fan-favorite title, Gintama season 1, premiering on Aug 26, every Friday at 8pm. For Indonesia, PT Link Net Tbk (Link Net) extended its renewal for subscribers to continue to enjoy contents from channels AXN, Animax, and ONE and added GEM to complement the platform’s Asian channels offering for its subscribers. Korean drama fans can catch the following popular K-drama titles on ONE including the ongoing dark comedy series, Becoming Witch, every Sunday, express within 24 hours from South Korea at 8.30pm, as well as Today’s Webtoon, premiering on Aug 20, featuring award-winning actress, Kim Se Jeong (2019 Winner of K-Drama Hallyu Star Award for I Wanna hear Your Song) and top model and actor, Nam Yoon Su (2021 winner of Model Star Award for The King’s Affection), in this drama about the struggles of a webtoon editor.
Medianet Pvt Ltd of the Maldives has also renewed a long-term deal for AXN, adding Japanese anime and entertainment channels, Animax and GEM, to boost their subscribers’ demand for Japanese content, which reaffirms a demand and viewer base for a variety of good quality premium content on linear and on demand.
