Anne Chan to Lead Content Distribution and Emerging Business for ViacomCBS in Asia

Singapore, April 20, 2020 – ViacomCBS Networks Asia has named Anne Chan as Vice President, Content Distribution Management and Emerging Business for the region. Chan will report into Pierre Cheung, Senior Vice President & General Manager.

In this newly created role, Chan will be responsible for the company’s content distribution business which includes affiliate and programme sales across Southeast Asia, Greater China, and Japan. She is also tasked with driving revenue for new business streams. Chan will focus particularly on digital businesses such as interactive content and influencer partnership, and accelerate ViacomCBS’ studio ambition through which the company produces high-quality content for third parties as well as its own brands and platforms.

Chan joins ViacomCBS from CJ ENM, where she held the position of COO and was the Asia Head of Global Sales. During her tenure, Chan led her team in achieving huge growth and developed new content products and productions, bringing in new revenue streams.
